The FAS Track to Weight Management

What is iFAS503ョ?

iFAS503ョ is a novel proprietary patented ingredient comprised of three potent Fatty Acid Synthase (FAS) inhibitors: Green Tea, Tuber Fleeceflower and Parasitic Loranthus (Patent No. 7,674,484). Processed uniquely, the herbs in iFAS503ョ are blended and then extracted together through a unique, pre-precise methodology promoting optimal synergy and a very potent concentration.*

How Does It Work?

Research suggests that Green Tea, Tuber Fleeceflower and Parasitic Loranthus are among the most potent FAS inhibitors. FAS is an enzyme that produces fatty acids which can be used as high energy fuel for tissue during intense exercise or more commonly stored in fat cells as triacylglycerol. When FAS is inhibited, the body’s ability to form fatty acids for storage is limited which may lead to appetite and weight reduction.*

•    Appetite reduction - several studies have identified the iFAS503ョ ingredients as being some of the most potent FAS inhibitors, showing inhibitory ability upwards of 80% in test subjects.  Participants experienced decreased food intake by 15.1% (Tian, W. et al., 2004).*

•    Weight management - iFAS503ョ may also have a thermogenic enhancing effect which could cause an increase in energy expenditure and eventual weight loss. Participants saw a 9.8% decrease in body weight within the first ten days.*
o    iFAS503ョ contains a potent inhibitor of the Acetyl-CoA       Carboxylase (ACC) enzyme which is another key enzyme in       fatty acid production.
o    iFAS503ョ contains Green tea catechins that have been       shown to inhibit FAS through an alternative mechanism.

Application and Serving Size

iFAS503ョ is appropriate in a product for weight management. It can be administered in a capsule, tablet, powder or liquid. A serving of 250 mgs twice daily is suggested. As with any weight management program, iFAS503ョ should be used in conjunction with proper nutrition and exercise.*
