What is Lipolide-SC?

Lipolide-SC, formerly known as Sclareolide is found in the plant Salvia Sclarea or Clary Sage.The plant has a variety of traditional uses including supporting proper immune health.* Clary Sage is generally recognized as safe for human consumption as a natural seasoning/flavoring and as plant extract/essential oil.

How Does It Work?

Lipolide-SC supports an increase in the rate of lipolysis (fat burning) activity through cAMP. Sclareolide supports enhanced levels of this key intracellular compound cyclic AMP (cyclic adenosine monophosphate). Specific to weight loss, cAMP binds to the regulatory subunit of protein kinase. Once bound, protein kinase releases its catalytic subunit which subsequently phosphorylates hormone-sensitive lipase, transforming it into its active form HSL-P. The HSL then catalyzes the hydrolysis reaction to reduce triglycerides into fatty acids and glycerol. Thus, cAMP ultimately stimulates the release of fatty acids from the body\'s adipose stores. Cyclic AMP is an integral part of energy metabolism and can help the body produce more energy through the breakdown of fat stores and thermogenesis. Because of this Lipolide SC does not directly affect the beta adreno-receptors, therefore, not stimulating the central nervous system or raising blood pressure levels like many other weight management ingredients.*

Application and Serving Size

Lipolide-SC is appropriate for weight management products.* It can be taken in a variety of forms including capsule, tablet, powder or liquid. The recommended serving of sclareolide, the principal constituent, is 10-20 mg, and may be taken one to two times daily. Lipolide-SC is available as a 98% material. As with any weight management program, Lipolide-SC should be used in conjunction with proper nutrition and exercise.
